Yes for Clean Energy Choice is a community choice aggregation initiative on the November ballot to enable citizens to have a choice on their energy. “Yes For Renewable Energy Choice” will allow the combined buying power of Portsmouth residents and small businesses to help drive down the overall cost of electricity while supporting clean energy goals.
- A ‘Yes’ vote allows Portsmouth the FREEDOM to choose our own energy. It’s a yes on potentially saving us money and bringing jobs to Ohio.
- A ‘Yes’ vote allows Portsmouth to purchase electricity at a bulk rate to potentially save money.
- It allows our community the CHOICE to cut emissions by switching to 100% clean energy sources such as wind and solar.
- The nonpartisan ballot initiative will allow Portsmouth to be recognized as an innovative city that’s LEADING THE WAY INTO THE FUTURE.
